Three thickly-painted forms inhabit this tactile space. The forms are abstracted, suggesting a distilled landscape of distant hill, sun and waves. The viewer is invited to interpret this picture in their own way. I have taken elements of landscape and visually disconnected them, and reassembled with a textured ground linking them all. 
‘Sun, Hill, Wave’ is a richly coloured and textured image. Painted in thick impasto oil paint, the background resonates and shimmers in turquoise, violet and red. Painted with artist quality oil paint, the painting is supported on a heavy duty warp-free stretcher.
