I have exhibited my paintings in galleries around the world; in Britain, Germany, Portugal, Sweden, Japan, the USA and onward, since 1989.

My work derives from a wide variety of sources including cartoon forms, music, botanical drawings, mythology, documentary photographs, film and found objects. I also draw inspiration from the incredible surroundings here- the colours of the seasons and the forms of natural growth.

The studio is a beautiful, 18th Century, timber-framed, red-brick coaching shed in the grounds of Sir Henry Rider Haggard’s Norfolk family home.

My living space, within the great house itself, was his bay-windowed and very grand writing room. It looks out over his walled gardens and into open farmland.
